Placement Guidelines and Exams
English Placement for non-native speakers of English
- English Placement for native speakers of English (to determine if you need to take ENGL 150)
- World Languages Placement - students who plan to take a world language at ISU beginning above the 101 level need to take a placement exam
- Math Placement - all incoming Genetics students need to take this exam even if student has credit for Math and Statistics. Scores are also used to determine preparedness for Chem 177 and 178.
