Brianna Brun, B.S. Genetics 2013

Brianna is studying the phenotypes of patients with muscular dystrophy caused by the defective glycosylation of alpha-dystroglycan.  This is an outstanding opportunity to learn genetics in a clinical setting.  Brianna's goal is to become a pediatric clinical geneticist, a pediatrician with a subspecialty in genetics.  She believes that the ISU undergraduate genetics program gave her the tools needed to obtain and excel in this fellowship.
